[250] "And how, bhikkhus, does a bhikkhu who is heedful (appamatta) develop the Noble Eightfold Path (ariya aṭṭhaṅgika magga), cultivate the Noble Eightfold Path? Here, bhikkhus, a bhikkhu develops right view (sammādiṭṭhi), which is grounded in the Deathless (amata), which has the Deathless as its destination, which has the Deathless as its final end … He develops right concentration (sammāsamādhi), which is grounded in the Deathless, which has the Deathless as its destination, which has the Deathless as its final end. It is in this way, bhikkhus, that a bhikkhu who is heedful develops the Noble Eightfold Path, cultivates the Noble Eightfold Path."
