[379] Bhikkhus, when the mind (citta) of a bhikkhu whose body is tranquil (passaddhakāya) and who is happy becomes concentrated, on that occasion the concentration (samādhi) factor of awakening (samādhisambojjhaṅga) is aroused in the bhikkhu; on that occasion the bhikkhu develops the concentration factor of awakening; on that occasion the concentration factor of awakening comes to fulfillment by development in the bhikkhu. He becomes one who looks on with equanimity, thoroughly, at the mind thus concentrated.
