[380] Bhikkhus, on whatever occasion a bhikkhu closely looks on with equanimity at the mind (citta) thus concentrated, on that occasion the equanimity (upekkhā) factor of awakening (bojjhaṅga) is aroused in that bhikkhu; on that occasion the bhikkhu develops the equanimity factor of awakening; on that occasion the equanimity factor of awakening comes to fulfillment by development in that bhikkhu.
