[232] One who is fully ordained (upasampanna), desiring to abuse (khuṃsetukāmo), desiring to disparage, desiring to humiliate one who is fully ordained, speaks of the exalted with [reference to] the exalted: he says to a stream-enterer (sotāpanna), "You are a stream-enterer" — there is an offense of pācittiya for each and every utterance.
