[212] One who is fully ordained (upasampanna), desiring to jeer at, desiring to disparage, desiring to humiliate one who is fully ordained, speaks of the high with reference to the high — of a ploughman, a merchant, a cowherd — saying, "You are a ploughman," "You are a merchant," "You are a cowherd": for each and every utterance, there is an offense (āpatti) of pācittiya.
