[211] A fully ordained one (upasampanna), desiring to abuse, desiring to disparage, desiring to humiliate a fully ordained one, addresses the inferior by way of the superior — [addressing] a store-room keeper (koṭṭhaka) or a remover of withered flowers (pupphachaḍḍaka), he says, "You are a ploughman, you are a merchant, you are a cowherd" — there is an offence of pācittiya for each utterance.
