[328] **"Should tell"** means: for one who says to a person not fully ordained (anupasampanna), "I attained the first absorption (jhāna) and the seven factors of awakening (bojjhaṅga); I am attaining them; I have attained them; I am a gainer of the first absorption and of the seven factors of awakening; I am a master of them; the first absorption and the seven factors of awakening have been realized by me" — there is an offense of pācittiya.
