[180] Bhikkhus, I will teach you the true Dhamma (saddhamma) and the false Dhamma (asaddhamma). Listen to that. … And what, bhikkhus, is the false Dhamma? The destruction of life (pāṇātipāta) … wrong view (micchādiṭṭhi): this, bhikkhus, is called the false Dhamma. And what, bhikkhus, is the true Dhamma? Abstention (veramaṇī) from the destruction of life … right view (sammādiṭṭhi): this, bhikkhus, is called the true Dhamma.
