[181] "Bhikkhus, I shall teach you the quality of a good person (sappurisadhamma) and the quality of a bad person (asappurisadhamma). Listen to that. … And what, bhikkhus, is the quality of a bad person? The destruction of life (pāṇātipāta) … wrong view (micchādiṭṭhi): this, bhikkhus, is called the quality of a bad person. And what, bhikkhus, is the quality of a good person? Abstinence from the destruction of life (pāṇātipātā veramaṇī) … right view (sammādiṭṭhi): this, bhikkhus, is called the quality of a good person."
