[183] "Bhikkhus, I will teach you the dhamma that should be practised (āsevitabba) and the dhamma that should not be practised. Listen to it. … And what, bhikkhus, is the dhamma that should not be practised? The destruction of life (pāṇātipāta) … wrong view (micchādiṭṭhi) — this, bhikkhus, is called the dhamma that should not be practised. And what, bhikkhus, is the dhamma that should be practised? Abstention from the destruction of life … right view (sammādiṭṭhi) — this, bhikkhus, is called the dhamma that should be practised."
