[123] "Whatever" (yā pana): whoever, of whatever sort … "Bhikkhunī": … this is the bhikkhunī intended in this meaning.
"With a requisite (parikkhāra) intended for one purpose, designated for another" (aññadatthikena parikkhārena aññuddisikena): with what was given for the sake of something else.
"Belonging to the Saṅgha" (saṅghikena): for the sake of the Saṅgha, not for a group, not for a single bhikkhunī.
"Personally requested" (saññācikena): having asked for it oneself.
"Should have something else procured in exchange" (aññaṃ cetāpeyya): setting aside that for the sake of which it was given, she has something else procured in exchange — in the effort there is an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa); upon obtaining it, it becomes subject to forfeiture (nissaggiya). It must be forfeited to the Saṅgha, or to a group, or to a single bhikkhunī.
"And thus, Bhikkhus, it should be forfeited: … 'Venerable ladies, this other thing, procured by me in exchange with a requisite intended for one purpose, designated for another, belonging to the Saṅgha, personally requested, is to be forfeited. I forfeit this to the Saṅgha.' … 'should give' … 'should give' … 'I give this to the venerable lady.'"
