[135] "Whatever" (yā pana): whoever, of whatever sort … "Bhikkhunī": … this is the bhikkhunī intended in this sense.
"With a requisite-fund (parikkhāra) intended for one thing, designated for another" (aññadatthikena parikkhārena aññuddisikena): with what was given for the sake of something else.
"For an individual" (puggalikena): for the sake of a single bhikkhunī, not for the Saṅgha, not for a group (gaṇa).
"Asked for by herself" (saññācikena): having requested it herself.
"Should have something else procured in exchange" (aññaṃ cetāpeyya): setting aside that for whose sake it was given, she has something else procured in exchange — in the act of undertaking, there is an offense of wrong conduct (dukkaṭa); on the obtaining of it, it becomes subject to forfeiture (nissaggiya). It must be forfeited to the Saṅgha, or to a group, or to a single bhikkhunī. "And thus, bhikkhus, it should be forfeited: …" "This thing, ladies (ayye), which I had procured in exchange for something else with a requisite-fund intended for one thing, designated for another, given for an individual, and asked for by myself, is to be forfeited; I forfeit it to the Saṅgha." … "should give …" … "(they) should give …" … "I give it to the lady."
