**"Having completed twelve years" (paripuṇṇadvādasavassā)** means: having attained twelve years.
**"Not agreed upon" (asammatā)** means: the agreement for ordaining (vuṭṭhāpana-sammuti) has not been given by means of a formal act consisting of a motion and one proclamation (ñattidutiya-kamma).
**"Should ordain" (vuṭṭhāpeyya)** means: should give full ordination (upasampādeyya).
(Thinking,) "I will ordain (her)," she searches for a group, or for a teacher (ācarinī), or for a bowl, or for a robe, or she designates a boundary (sīmā): an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa).
