[439] **"Whoever (yā pana)"** means: whoever, of whatever sort … . **"Bhikkhunī"** means: … this is the bhikkhunī intended in this sense. **"Every rains (anuvassaṃ)"** means: every year. **"Should give ordination (vuṭṭhāpeyya)"** means: should give full ordination (upasampadā). If, thinking, "I shall give full ordination," she searches for a group, or for a female teacher (ācarinī), or for a bowl, or for a robe, or she agrees upon a boundary (sīmā) — an offense of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa). For the motion (ñatti), an offense of wrong-doing; for the two proclamations (kammavācā), offenses of wrong-doing; at the conclusion of the final proclamation, for the female preceptor (upajjhāyā) an offense of expiation (pācittiya), and for the group and the female teacher an offense of wrong-doing.
