[458] "Whatever" (yā pana) means: whoever, of whatever sort … . "Bhikkhunī" means: … this is the bhikkhunī intended in this sense. "Women's ornament" (itthālaṅkāra) means: what is worn on the head, worn on the neck, worn on the hand, worn on the foot, worn on the waist. "Should wear" means: if she wears it even once, she commits an offense entailing expiation (pācittiya).
