[169] Which phenomena (dhammā) are wholesome?
On the occasion when one develops the path (magga) for rebirth in the form sphere (rūpūpapatti) and, quite secluded from sensual pleasures, … enters upon and dwells in the first jhāna—measureless (appamāṇa), with a limited object (parittārammaṇa)—on the earth kasiṇa (paṭhavīkasiṇa): on that occasion there is contact (phassa) … there is non-distraction (avikkhepa) …
These phenomena are wholesome.
