[175] Which phenomena (dhammā) are wholesome?
On the occasion when one develops the path (magga) for rebirth in the form sphere (rūpūpapatti): quite secluded from sensual pleasures … one enters upon and dwells in the first jhāna — pleasant in practice (sukhāpaṭipadā), quick in direct knowledge (khippābhiññā), limited (paritta), with a limited object (parittārammaṇa) — on the earth kasiṇa (paṭhavīkasiṇa); on that occasion there is contact (phassa) … there is non-distraction (avikkhepa) …
