[371] Which, on that occasion, is mind (citta)? That which, on that occasion, is mind, mentality (mano), mentation (mānasa), heart (hadaya), that which is lucid (paṇḍara), mentality, mind base (manāyatana), mind faculty (manindriya), consciousness (viññāṇa), the aggregate of consciousness (viññāṇakkhandha), the corresponding mind element (tajjā manodhātu) — this, on that occasion, is mind.
