Ten sense bases are not to be abandoned by development (bhāvanā); two sense bases sometimes are to be abandoned by development, sometimes are not to be abandoned by development. Ten sense bases do not have roots to be abandoned by seeing; two sense bases sometimes have roots to be abandoned by seeing, sometimes do not have roots to be abandoned by seeing. Ten sense bases do not have roots to be abandoned by development; two sense bases sometimes have roots to be abandoned by development, sometimes do not have roots to be abandoned by development. Ten sense bases are without thought-conception (vitakka); two sense bases sometimes are with thought-conception, sometimes are without thought-conception.
