[166] P. Should it not be said, "The person (puggala) is apprehended in the sense of a real and ultimate fact (sacchikaṭṭha-paramaṭṭha)"?
S. Yes.
P. Is there not a mother?
S. Yes.
P. If there is a mother, then indeed, good sir, you should say, "The person is apprehended in the sense of a real and ultimate fact."
P. Should it not be said, "The person is apprehended in the sense of a real and ultimate fact"?
S. Yes.
P. Is there not a father? … a brother? a sister? a nobleman (khattiya)? a brahmin (brāhmaṇa)? a merchant (vessa)? a labourer (sudda)? a householder (gahaṭṭha)? one gone forth (pabbajita)? a deva? a human being?
S. Yes.
P. If there is a human being, then indeed, good sir, you should say, "The person is apprehended in the sense of a real and ultimate fact."
