[117]
[Paravādin:] "Is it not to be said: 'The person (puggala) is apprehended (upalabbhati) in the real and ultimate sense (sacchikaṭṭha-paramaṭṭha)'?"
[Sakavādin:] "Yes."
[Paravādin:] "Is it not so that he who sees — he sees; that which he sees — that he sees; and that by which he sees — by that he sees?"
[Sakavādin:] "Yes."
[Paravādin:] "If he who sees — he sees; that which he sees — that he sees; and that by which he sees — by that he sees, then indeed, good sir, you must say: 'The person is apprehended in the real and ultimate sense.'"
