[1724] [Sakavādin:] "Should it not be said: 'What is given to the Saṅgha is of great fruit'?" [Paravādin:] "Yes." [Sakavādin:] "Was it not said by the Blessed One: 'Give to the Saṅgha, Gotamī. When you have given to the Saṅgha, both I and the Saṅgha will be honored'? Is there indeed such a discourse (suttanta)?" [Paravādin:] "Yes." [Sakavādin:] "In that case, what is given to the Saṅgha is of great fruit."
