[50] S. — "Is the person (puggala) apprehended in the true and ultimate sense (sacchikaṭṭha-paramaṭṭha)?"
P. — "Yes."
S. — "Is form (rūpa) the person?"
P. — "It should not be said thus."
S. — "Acknowledge the refutation (niggaha). If the person is apprehended in the true and ultimate sense, then indeed, good sir, it should be said: 'Form is the person.' What you say there — 'It should indeed be said that the person is apprehended in the true and ultimate sense, yet it should not be said that form is the person' — is wrong. But if it should not be said: 'Form is the person,' then indeed, good sir, it should not be said: 'The person is apprehended in the true and ultimate sense.' What you say there — 'It should indeed be said that the person is apprehended in the true and ultimate sense, yet it should not be said that form is the person' — is wrong." …
