Suddhasaṅkhāravāra

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (1) · Vol. 38 · Section 1061

[1061] For whomever the bodily formation (kāyasaṅkhāra) will arise, will the mental formation (cittasaṅkhāra) arise for that one? Yes. Or, for whomever the mental formation will arise, will the bodily formation arise for that one? For those of the sense sphere (kāmāvacara) [at that] mind (citta) in immediate succession to which the final mind (pacchimacitta) will arise; for those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) in the form sphere (rūpāvacara) or in the formless sphere (arūpāvacara); and for those who, having been reborn in the form sphere or the formless sphere, will attain final Nibbāna, while they are passing away — for these the mental formation will arise, but the bodily formation will not arise for them. For the others, both the mental formation will arise and the bodily formation will arise.
