[1102] For whom the bodily formation (kāyasaṅkhāra) arose, will the verbal formation (vacīsaṅkhāra) arise for him?
For those endowed with the final mind (pacchimacitta-samaṅgī), and for those immediately after whose mind (citta) the final mind without thought-conception (vitakka) and without discursive thought (vicāra) will arise — for these the bodily formation arose, but the verbal formation will not arise for them; for the others, the bodily formation arose and the verbal formation will arise.
Or: for whom the verbal formation will arise, did the bodily formation arise for him?
