Suddhasaṅkhāravāra

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (1) · Vol. 38 · Section 1136

[1136] For whomever the verbal formation (vacīsaṅkhāra) will not cease, will the mental formation (cittasaṅkhāra) of that one not cease? At the moment of arising (uppādakkhaṇa) of the final mind (pacchimacitta) that is without thought and examination (avitakka-avicāra), and in the case of those in immediate succession to whose mind (citta) the final mind without thought and examination will arise — their verbal formation will not cease, but it is not the case that their mental formation will not cease. At the moment of dissolution (bhaṅgakkhaṇa) of the final mind, their verbal formation will not cease and their mental formation will not cease. Or, for whomever the mental formation will not cease, will the verbal formation of that one not cease? Yes.
