Suddhasaṅkhāravāra

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (1) · Vol. 38 · Section 1190

[1190] For whomever the bodily formation (kāyasaṅkhāra) will arise, will the mental formation (cittasaṅkhāra) cease for that one? Yes. Or rather, for whomever the mental formation will cease, will the bodily formation arise for that one? For sense-sphere beings (kāmāvacara) at the moment of arising (uppādakkhaṇa) of the final mind (pacchimacitta); for those immediately after whose mind the final mind of sense-sphere beings will arise; for those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) in the form sphere (rūpāvacara) and in the formless sphere (arūpāvacara); and for those who, having been reborn in the form sphere or the formless sphere, will attain final Nibbāna (parinibbāna), as they are passing away — for these the mental formation will cease, but the bodily formation will not arise for them. For the others, both the mental formation will cease and the bodily formation will arise.
