[1361] One who abandons the latent tendency (anusaya) of sensual lust (kāmarāgānusaya), the latent tendency of repulsion (paṭighānusaya), and the latent tendency of conceit (mānānusaya) — does he abandon the latent tendency of view (diṭṭhānusaya) … the latent tendency of doubt (vicikicchānusaya)?
There is none.
Or rather, one who abandons the latent tendency of doubt — does he abandon the latent tendency of sensual lust, the latent tendency of repulsion, and the latent tendency of conceit?
He abandons what stands in the same place as that (tadekaṭṭha).
One who abandons the latent tendency of sensual lust, the latent tendency of repulsion, and the latent tendency of conceit — does he abandon the latent tendency of lust for existence (bhavarāgānusaya) … the latent tendency of ignorance (avijjānusaya)?
There is none.
Or rather, one who abandons the latent tendency of ignorance — does he abandon the latent tendency of sensual lust, the latent tendency of repulsion, and the latent tendency of conceit?
He abandons the latent tendency of conceit.
