[357] For whomever, wherever, the mind base (manāyatana) arose, did the dhamma base (dhammāyatana) arise for that one there? Yes. Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the dhamma base arose, did the mind base arise for that one there? For the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), the dhamma base arose for them there, but the mind base did not arise for them there. For four-aggregate beings (catuvokāra) and five-aggregate beings (pañcavokāra), both the dhamma base arose for them there and the mind base arose for them there.
