Uppādavāra

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (1) · Vol. 38 · Section 503

[503] For whomever, wherever, the form base (rūpāyatana) arose, will the mind base (manāyatana) arise for that one there? For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) in the five-constituent existence (pañcavokāra), and for non-percipient beings (asaññasattā): the form base arose for them there, but the mind base will not arise for them there. For the others in the five-constituent existence: both the form base arose for them there and the mind base will arise. Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the mind base will arise, did the form base arise for that one there? For formless beings (arūpa): the mind base will arise for them there, but the form base did not arise for them there. For those passing away from the five-constituent existence: both the mind base will arise for them there and the form base arose.
