[388] For whomever, wherever, the form base (rūpāyatana) will arise, will the mind base (manāyatana) arise for that one there?
For non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), the form base will arise for them there, but the mind base will not arise for them there. For beings of five-constituent existence (pañcavokārā), for them there both the form base will arise and the mind base will arise.
Or, for whomever, wherever, the mind base will arise, will the form base arise for that one there?
For formless beings (arūpā), the mind base will arise for them there, but the form base will not arise for them there. For beings of five-constituent existence, for them there both the mind base will arise and the form base will arise.
