[389] For whomever, wherever, the form base (rūpāyatana) will arise, will the dhamma base (dhammāyatana) arise for that one there?
Yes.
Or else, for whomever, wherever, the dhamma base will arise, will the form base arise for that one there?
For the formless ones (arūpa), the dhamma base will arise for them there, but the form base will not arise for them there. For those of five-constituent existence (pañcavokāra) and for the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), for them there both the dhamma base will arise and the form base will arise.
