[390] For whomever, wherever, the mind base (manāyatana) will arise, will the dhamma base (dhammāyatana) arise for that one there? Yes. Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the dhamma base will arise, will the mind base arise for that one there? For non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), the dhamma base will arise for them there, but the mind base will not arise for them there. For four-constituent beings (catuvokāra) and five-constituent beings (pañcavokāra), for them there both the dhamma base will arise and the mind base will arise.
