Uppādavāra

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (1) · Vol. 38 · Section 408

[408] For whomever, wherever, the form base (rūpāyatana) will not arise, will the mind base (manāyatana) not arise for that one there? For formless beings (arūpa), the form base will not arise for them there, but it is not the case that the mind base will not arise for them there. For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika), both the form base will not arise for them there and the mind base will not arise. Or, for whomever, wherever, the mind base will not arise, will the form base not arise for that one there? For non-percipient beings (asaññasatta), the mind base will not arise for them there, but it is not the case that the form base will not arise for them there. For those in their final existence, both the mind base will not arise for them there and the form base will not arise.
