[407] For whomever in whatever place the nose sense base (ghānāyatana) will not arise, will the phenomena sense base (dhammāyatana) not arise for that one in that place?
For those of the form sphere (rūpāvacara) and those of the formless sphere (arūpāvacara), for them in that place the nose sense base will not arise, but it is not the case that for them in that place the phenomena sense base will not arise. For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika), for them in that place both the nose sense base will not arise and the phenomena sense base will not arise.
Or rather, for whomever in whatever place the phenomena sense base will not arise, will the nose sense base not arise for that one in that place?
