Uppādavāra

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (1) · Vol. 38 · Section 483

[483] For whomever, wherever, the nose base (ghānāyatana) does not arise, will the dhamma base (dhammāyatana) not arise for that one there? For all who are passing away, and for the noseless (aghānaka) who are being reborn: for them there the nose base does not arise, yet it is not the case that the dhamma base will not arise for them there. For those attaining final Nibbāna in the sense sphere (kāmāvacara), and for those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) in the form sphere (rūpāvacara) and the formless sphere (arūpāvacara): for them there the nose base does not arise, and the dhamma base will not arise. Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the dhamma base will not arise, does the nose base not arise for that one there? For those in their final existence who are being reborn into the sense sphere: for them there the dhamma base will not arise, yet it is not the case that the nose base does not arise for them there. For those attaining final Nibbāna in the sense sphere, and for those in their final existence in the form sphere and the formless sphere: for them there the dhamma base will not arise, and the nose base does not arise.
