[409] For whomever, wherever, the form base (rūpāyatana) will not arise, will the mental-phenomena base (dhammāyatana) not arise for that one there?
For the formless beings (arūpa), the form base will not arise for them there, but it is not the case that the mental-phenomena base will not arise for them there. For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika), both the form base will not arise for them there and the mental-phenomena base will not arise.
Or, for whomever, wherever, the mental-phenomena base will not arise, will the form base not arise for that one there?
Yes (āmantā).
