[519] For whomever, wherever, the form base (rūpāyatana) did not arise, will the dhamma base (dhammāyatana) not arise for that one there?
For formless beings (arūpa): for them there the form base did not arise, but it is not the case that for them there the dhamma base will not arise. For beings of the Pure Abodes (Suddhāvāsa) and for beings in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) in the formless realm: for them there the form base did not arise, and the dhamma base will not arise.
Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the dhamma base will not arise, did the form base not arise for that one there?
For beings in their final existence in the five-aggregate existence (pañcavokāra): for them there the dhamma base will not arise, but it is not the case that for them there the form base did not arise. For beings of the Pure Abodes and for beings in their final existence in the formless realm: for them there the dhamma base will not arise, and the form base did not arise.
