For those of the form sphere (rūpāvacara) and those of the formless sphere (arūpāvacara), the nose sense base had never arisen for them there, but it is not the case that the mind-object sense base had never arisen for them there. For those of the Pure Abodes (Suddhāvāsa), both the nose sense base had never arisen for them there and the mind-object sense base had never arisen for them there.
Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the mind-object sense base had never arisen, had the nose sense base never arisen for that one there?
