For the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), the mind base never arose for them there, but it is not the case that the dhamma base never arose for them there; for the beings of the pure abodes (suddhāvāsa), both the mind base never arose for them there and the dhamma base never arose.
Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the dhamma base never arose, did the mind base never arise for that one there?
