[375] "For whomever the eye base (cakkhāyatana) will arise, will the mind-object base (dhammāyatana) arise for him?"
"Yes."
"Or else, for whomever the mind-object base will arise, will the eye base arise for him?"
"For those who, having been reborn in the formless [realm] (arūpa), will attain final Nibbāna, the mind-object base will arise, but the eye base will not arise for them; for the others, both the mind-object base will arise and the eye base will arise."
