[378] For whomever the form base (rūpāyatana) will arise, will the mind base (manāyatana) … the dhamma base (dhammāyatana) arise for him?
Yes.
Or, for whomever the dhamma base will arise, will the form base arise for him?
For those who, having been reborn in the formless [realm] (arūpa), will attain final Nibbāna, the dhamma base will arise for them, but the form base will not arise for them. For the others, both the dhamma base will arise for them and the form base will arise.
