[713] For whomever the form sense base (rūpāyatana) will arise, will the mind sense base (manāyatana) … the dhamma sense base (dhammāyatana) cease for that one?
Yes (āmantā).
Or rather: for whomever the dhamma sense base will cease, will the form sense base arise for that one?
For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) who are taking rebirth, and for those who, having been reborn in the formless (arūpa), will attain final Nibbāna — for them the dhamma sense base will cease, but the form sense base will not arise for them; for the others, both the dhamma sense base will cease and the form sense base will arise.
