[382] For whomever in whatever place the eye base (cakkhāyatana) will arise, will the nose base (ghānāyatana) arise for that one in that place?
For those belonging to the form sphere (rūpāvacara), the eye base will arise for them in that place, but the nose base will not arise for them in that place. For those belonging to the sense sphere (kāmāvacara), both the eye base will arise and the nose base will arise for them in that place.
Or rather, for whomever in whatever place the nose base will arise, will the eye base arise for that one in that place?
