[396] For whomever the nose sense base (ghānāyatana) will not arise, for that one the mind sense base (manāyatana) … the dhamma sense base (dhammāyatana) will not arise?
For those who, having been reborn in the form sphere (rūpāvacara) or the formless sphere (arūpāvacara), will attain final Nibbāna, for them the nose sense base will not arise, but it is not the case that the dhamma sense base will not arise for them. For those who are in their final existence (pacchimabhavika), for them both the nose sense base will not arise and the dhamma sense base will not arise.
Or rather, for whomever the dhamma sense base will not arise, for that one the nose sense base will not arise?
Yes (āmantā).
