[425] For whomever and wherever the form base (rūpāyatana) arises, did the mind base (manāyatana) arise for that one there?
For those being reborn into the Pure Abodes (Suddhāvāsa) and those being reborn among the non-percipient beings (asaññasatta), the form base arises for them there, but the mind base did not arise for them there. For the others, who are being reborn into five-constituent existence (pañcavokāra), the form base arises for them there and the mind base arose.
Or else, for whomever and wherever the mind base arose, does the form base arise for that one there?
For those passing away from five-constituent existence and for the formless beings (arūpa), the mind base arose for them there, but the form base does not arise for them there. For those being reborn into five-constituent existence, the mind base arose for them there and the form base arises.
