[656] For whomever the eye sense base (cakkhāyatana) has ceased, will the mind sense base (manāyatana) … will the dhamma sense base (dhammāyatana) cease for that one?
For those attaining final Nibbāna (parinibbantānaṃ), the eye sense base has ceased, but the dhamma sense base will not cease for them; for the others, both the eye sense base has ceased and the dhamma sense base will cease.
