[731] For whomever the nose base (ghānāyatana) will not arise, for him the mind base (manāyatana) … will the dhamma base (dhammāyatana) not cease?
For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) who are arising, and for those who, having been reborn in the form sphere (rūpāvacara) or the formless sphere (arūpāvacara), will attain final Nibbāna (parinibbāna) — for them the nose base will not arise, but it is not the case that for them the dhamma base will not cease. For those who are attaining final Nibbāna, for them both the nose base will not arise and the dhamma base will not cease.
Or, for whomever the dhamma base … ?
