[742] For whomever, wherever, the nose base (ghānāyatana) will not arise, will the dhamma base (dhammāyatana) not cease for that one there?
For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika) who are being reborn into the sense sphere (kāmāvacara), and for those of the form sphere (rūpāvacara) and the formless sphere (arūpāvacara): for them, there, the nose base will not arise, but it is not the case that for them, there, the dhamma base will not cease. For those who are attaining final Nibbāna: for them, there, the nose base will not arise and the dhamma base will not cease.
