[578] For whomever, wherever, the nose base (ghānāyatana) will not cease, will the dhamma base (dhammāyatana) not cease for that one there?
For beings of the form sphere (rūpāvacara) and of the formless sphere (arūpāvacara), the nose base will not cease for them there, yet it is not the case that the dhamma base will not cease for them there. For those attaining final Nibbāna (parinibbāna), both the nose base will not cease for them there and the dhamma base will not cease.
Or, for whomever, wherever, the dhamma base will not cease, will the nose base not cease for that one there?
Yes (āmantā).
